ARTIST STATEMENT:

My work explores the relationship between the body and mind. With influences as diverse as Carraviaggio and Francis Bacon, new tensions are created from both explicit and implicit structures.

Broken but fun to look at:

Every Image I create comes from my experience being isolated by chronic pain in the female form.

Images are created by manipulating my emotions with music as a huge influence. 

Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the body and the unreality of the mind. What starts out as yearning soon becomes manipulated into a hegemony of power, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis.

As intermittent derivatives become distorted through diverse practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the edges of our condition.
